KYNANCE COVE
ANHAY FARMHOUSE lies South of the Helford River and North of the charming fishing village of Coverack on the Lizard Peninsula. The most southerly point of mainland Britain, The Lizard enjoys a milder climate, where Spring comes early and Summer stays late. The beaches are among the finest - crystal clear water and pale sand are the very essence of this part of Cornwall.
Surrounded by 300 acres of meadows, orchard and woodlands bound by the Durra River, An-Hay Farm is ideally situated for exploring the spectacular Cornish coastline and beaches of the Lizard Peninsula
The Lizard Peninsula is a place of contrasts. Dramatic cliffs around Kynance Cove and Lizard Point present a rugged face to the elements while, to the east, the softer, greener landscape of the Helford River reveals an entirely different side.
The South West Coastal Path winds around the entire Peninsula offering spectacular walking for ramblers of all ages and abilities.
Fishing harbours and thatched cottages give the visitor a taste of the 'unchanging' Cornwall. The Helford River, Gillan Creek and the Bay offer superb sailing, boating and water sports for beginners and enthusiasts.
The Helford River is magical, a lush wooded valley of inlets and creeks, of sub-tropical gardens and riverside villages to be explored by boat or on foot.

The comfortable sitting room exudes character with an inglenook fireplace housing a wood burner, and original bread oven, beamed ceiling and comfortable settees and chairs. A basket of logs is provided making the evenings cozy with a real fire. New 32" flat screen Freeview TV & DVD.
The bright, well equipped kitchen and a beautiful South facing sun lounge, which most guests utilize as a dining/sitting area, complete the accommodation on the ground floor (together with a WC).
Upstairs is a modern shower room and three well proportioned bedrooms with delightful views across the fields where the Anhay herd of pedigree Hereford cattle graze.
The master bedroom is equipped with an en suite shower room (large double shower) and four poster bed, sheltered beneath a high apex ceiling with timber beams, adding an airy and open dimension to the room. The twin bedded rooms both have access to the 'Jack and Jill' modern shower room.
Anhay Farmhouse is quite private with its own entrance and front garden, while the owners live in a seperate part (at the back) but are on hand to help with advice or directions.
